  1. Well, why should she?!? Humans. Honestly. Good thing about being a cat is that humans normally don't even try to make us like water. However, they do try to convince us of other stuff we don't show interest in. Why?? If we aren't interested, we don't need humans to convince us that we should be interested. Sigh. Hope our human is learning that lesson rather sooner than later.

  3. We think you look good CLOSE TO the water, sweet Ruby. But going INTO the water is a whole other ballgame, huh? :)

  4. Stick to your guns, Ruby, if you don't like that water then you stop where you are. Mind you having a paddle in it is great fun, or so someone once told me, and doesn't actually count as full on swimming. All the fun with no risk. MOL

  11. That is all right Ruby. Most of us cats don't like water either although some of them do like to play in the water. You are just so cute. You all have a great week.

  13. Abby is the same - we bought her a little kiddie pool, one like Barkley had and could hardly be pried out of, and she wouldn't even put a toe in the water.

  18. Fenris doesn't buy it either unless he is REALLY hot, then he will get in the water now that he is older. When he was a puppy he was scared of the waves.

  32. We swam Sam in a warm water pool for about 6-1/2 years following his injury. He's at best, a reluctant swimmer. So Sam sides with Ruby. Forget swimming, let's eat.

  34. Astrid is right there with you, Ruby. She doesn't even like to go outside after it's rained, because she doesn't like when her toesies get wet.
