  3. Pretty boots Pip, but they do feel funny, don't they.A horse will do the same thing if you put boots on them. Too cute.

  8. OMD - adorable! We've been toying with the idea of having Penny try a pair since she seems to have the most sensitive feet when it comes to cold and rain/snow.

  11. Those are the cutest photos and very bright boots (easy to find if they do come off as we lost one of Angus' in the mud and snow last week as it was grey). I love watching dogs try boots for the first time- too funny in most cases. Kilo absolutely hates them so we just try to avoid salt and only go for short walks. He snaps at people touching his feet and even if you do get them on, he pulls them off mighty fast or goes on strike.

  13. We hope you eventually get used to your boots if your mom is going to make you wear them. You sure look cute wearing them but we can tell you aren't very happy.

  21. Dog boots look like a success! I tried boots and socks with Bruiser last week during the ice storm and it was a disaster! ;)

  22. Oh, my goodness!!! Those are the most adorable photos. It looks like the lesson was a success.

  23. We are a dog boot family too. I hope you get a little more comfortable wearing yours. They are really cute.

  24. So cute. My dogs refuse to walk in boots. They just stand and look miserable!

  29. Those boots look like they're hard to get used to, Ruby.

  30. Poor Ruby. Those things looks like they'd take some getting use to!

  31. Which kind are you wearing? They're so bright and easy to spot!

  32. We are a dog boot family here and it took some time, but I am so glad we stuck with it. Looks like you had a fun experience with them. Love the jacket as well.

  33. We slip on the PAWZ boots when needed, but I love the color of your boots!

  34. You sure make those boots look good, Ruby! Astrid has to wear one boot, on her back right foot, because of a benign she has on it and that bleeds without protection on walks. We've tried boots on all 4 feet for her, but she simply refuses to stand up, let alone walk, in that condition. I should show her this video of you, Ruby, so that she can see how it's done!

  35. Oh you poor baby!! (Sorry mom!!) While I know dog boots are supposed to be great, I still am having trouble wrapping my head around them. Dogs lived for centuries just fine without them! DakotasDen

  36. We all have days like that, Ruby ... and very few of us can do it that adorably!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I can't help but enjoy the new boots dance....we humans are so mean sometimes, aren't we? LOL
Cricket adjusted to hers quickly, but she still hates sitting still while I put them on and take them off. That seems to be the worst part for her now. Once they're on, she's fine! We've only done back paws so far though, it might be different if we ever add the front ones too.

  38. Don't be giving my mom ideas!

  39. we use PAWZ ... I so wish there was a way to just try before buying you know?

  40. Hahaha! Ruby is super adorable with those boots! I understand her struggle I remember when I put boots on my past dog long time ago, he was so confused and I was laughing so much. Haven't tried any boots on Happy...it's going to be too funny! :)

  41. Very cute. I have considered these for Stella, but so far she has escaped it!

  42. Great title for a cute photo series! We've never tried boots with our dogs, but I don't think they would like them.

  43. Such cute and bright boots, but they don't outshine the dog. MOL

  44. Sweetest boots ever! I tried those years ago with my very first dog during his very first winter. He was an expert at ripping them off before we even left the house. Very stealthy and quick. I've never tried them again. And maybe I should! I don't think my current dog crew would be so adept at boot removal.

  45. We wouldn't wear boots, never ever :D
