Feline Friday: Rosie Meets #Sockitty

Since we have been so focused on the #houndsandholidays giveaway, it seemed only fair that Rosie should have a giveaway of her own. Actually, she demanded it and even threatened legal action, but that's a story for another time.

Rosie reviews her new Sockitty

Sockitty® and Go Cat Toys
A few weeks ago I discovered Sockitty®, a super cool, one-of-a-kind toy by Go Cat Toys. Is it a friend, foe or traveling feline funhouse - cats can lick it, kick it, tease it or squeeze it. It jingles and jangles, crackles and crunches and even throws punches (not really).

Each Sockitty® is individually hand-crafted in the USA by the cat enthusiasts at Go Cat Toys. They are extremely durable and made to stand up to natural feline behavior - kind of like a plushy cat scratcher. Although they vary slightly, the average size body is 19 inches long by 4 inches wide, perfect for playtime and nap time.
A litter of Sockittyies by Go Cat Toys

Leah, the founder of Go Cat Toys, is an old rescue friend of mine. We had lost touch, but ran into each other recently at a holiday bazaar for a local shelter. She started Go Cat Toys out of love for her own cats and Sockitty® is the result of creating fun toys for her feline family.

Sockitty® has received lots of praise from movers and shakers in the feline world, winning Cat Fancy's 2014 Editor's Choice award, Modern Cat's Fave Find in 2015, and featured product in Hauspanther Gear Guide.

Rosie and Moo Shu Meet Sockitty®

As you can see, Rosie and Moo Shu LOVE their new Sockitty® both as a toy and as a pillow! Sockitty® is a perfect stocking stuffer for the special feline in your life. For ordering information, please visit Go Cat Toys

Rosie's Sockitty® and Shelter Donation Giveaway

Rosie is giving away one Sockitty® along with a few of her favorite treats! As part of this special prize package, she will also make a donation to the cat shelter or rescue of the winner's choice. One winner will be selected randomly. You have from now until Sunday at 11:59 p.m to enter by leaving a comment with the name of the shelter or rescue you would like to receive a donation.

  3. Looks like fun, but wouldn't stand up to our cat bro Bert who eats toys like that. He is a cat monster!

    1. Hi Emma, We hear this quite often...folks insisting that their cat will tear it up. The toys are actually a unique blend of textile completely durable to withstand all kinds of cat abuse. Sockitty® will get well-loved looking, however, it is very unlikely to rip open and will remain in-tact for the long-haul (5-10 years.)

  31. This is the best use of a sock that I have ever seen, though I do not recommend using my peeps socks, that just would not be safe for any kitty. Mouses! As I'm in England, if eligable, I would love to nominate The Woodside Animal Centre in Leicester, if that is not possible then a Rescue of your choice. purrs ERin

  32. That would be a super kicker for Minko who loves to do things like that. Pipo is more reserved, but maybe he too would go nutzo with one of those. We would donate to Froggy's Pond in Battle Creek, MI. Its a vet run shelter for FIV and FLV positive kitties and others who are considered not adoptable. This pawsome vet is our vet, too.

Minko is a string chewer, so that would have to be adjusted:)
