  3. Fun times at the lake for you, Ruby!!! Too bad we can't ship that extra water west where they could really use it.

  12. Beautiful photos! And that information is good to know—we didn't realize the cons to rising waters other than possible flooding. We're constantly having flash flood warnings her because of all the rain...

  13. Funny how there is always "the good news is....but the bad news is". Regardless of the news, you are looking so very beautiful today, Ruby!!

  14. Mom and dad say one of their most beautiful runs was along Lake Michigan when they got drenched. Also it was one of the most scary as the lightening got closer and closer.

  20. Hi Ruby
We have quite the opposite problem here in Northern California. Our lakes are so low the fish have no where to go. And at Lake Folsom, there is a treasure trove of stuff littering the lake bed in what is normally submerged in the lake waters.
    Lovely pix, by the way.

  29. Beautiful! That's interesting about the rising level water. Is tht from too much rain/snow? The lakes here (in CA) are all SO low. It's horrible.

  36. Yikes. That is quite worrisome for the local shoreline properties. I nominated you for the 8 Photos of Happiness award. If you are interested in accepting, more info can be found here: http://travelanimaldr.com/8-photos-of-happiness/

  38. I hadn't thought about the impact of rising waters; I'm so accustomed to worrying about dips in water supply! Yikes!

Your photos are beautiful, as always.
