Street + Art + Dog

Though it may surprise some (Ruby and Rosie), I do have other interests in addition to cats and dogs. One of my favorite things is street or public art. Basically, I love art that is free and accessible to all - humans and dogs and even cats alike. So I thought why not combine passions (art + dog) and share interesting local street and public art on the blog.

This photograph was taken on the far north side of Chicago at the corner of Winthrop and Granville. It is basically just a wall that is painted in graphic colorful shapes that brightens up an otherwise grey stretch. Ruby thought it was a perfect spot for a quick rest and sip of water on a hot summer morning.

  6. I love street art too! There's are several pages on FB that display street art, as I'm sure you know. I haven't necessarily seen where they combine our love of dogs and art regularly together though. I look forward to seeing more of yours.

  11. I love the colours! A vast majority of the street art in this part of the world is some sort of sectarian statement. I would be happy with some colours like that! :)
