My Most Perfect Day

We are thrilled to join Oz The Terrier's Bravo for Special Moments CelebrationThis picture was taken in March 2010 on the first lovely spring day after a long, dreary winter. We were at a playground on the lakefront in Chicago - my daughter is looking out at Lake Michigan and Pip at the city skyline.

My daughter was two and just starting to come into her own as a little person and Pip was healthy and had just started the blog. I was still working part time and blessed with many relaxed, fun, joyous afternoons like this one. But for some reason, this day remains vivid and real and when I close my eyes, I am right back in this magic moment.
