we never understand this need humans have for abandoning us for hours on end and then expecting us to be all bouncy and happy when they finally turn up!

We got cameras set up to keep an eye on the pups - we know Sam keeps a constant vigil by the front door until one of us returns.

Hehe, you mean dig through the garbage and eat things that shouldn't be eaten, right? Oh, no? That's not what all dogs do? Hm... must be why I have to stay in my crate when the parentals leave.

Wells, I likes to do a lot more than that when Ma's not here...go through her laundry and spread it through the house, go into the recycling and tear ups the magazines, see if the bird is still in his cage (and how I can get him OUT of it!), roll around on Ma's bed and rub my butts on her pillow.
And that's just the MORNING!! BOL
Kisses,
Ruby ♥

Yep, that sounds just about right! Most of the time, when I pull into the driveway, I see two dog faces in the window--Riley and Chloe will both lie on the back of our loveseat and look out the window, waiting for us to return.

Makes me wish all HUMAN friends were even half as faithful and loyal as our dog friends are.

Hi Kristin!

It's me again, Tammy the Marketing Coordinator at The Uncommon Dog. We just finished another informative info-graphic that I thought you might be interested in. It's titled "How Dogs Became Our Best Friends!".

If you love dogs, like we do, then you'll love this story. Recent scientific breakthroughs have increased our understanding about how dogs have come to play such an integral part of our daily lives. This fun and engaging info-graphic tells that story in a way that we hope makes it accessible and interesting to everyone.

If you would like to share this info-graphic with your readers, please feel free to do so. You can find the info-graphic here: http://www.theuncommondog.com/how-dogs-became-our-best-friends.aspx Again, all we ask in return is that you link back to TheUncommonDog.com, in some way, from your post.

Also, definitely let me know if you do decide to post it because we'd be happy to spread the word again about the blog post by linking to it from our Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ pages.

If you'd like your e-mail removed from our mailing list, please let us know.
