Bucket List - Week 1, Call of the Wild

I guess it's no secret that most of my life I have been a city dog. My food comes from the store and the only wild animals I encounter are the feral cats in the alley or the occasional possum. Now, I love a good over-processed cheeseburger as much as the next dog, but lately I've wondered what must it be like to taste REAL meat ...

I shared my questions with my best pal Frankie ...and guess what he did? He went to the woods and hunted me a deer with his very own paws. And like magic (my assistant and I know nothing of this process so it is magic to us), he turned it into jerky and sent it to me.

He even sent me some of the fur from his catch so I could smell the woods. My friends, I got so excited I tried to eat the napkin.

Getting in touch with my inner wolf

Go catch a mouse sister, this deer is ALL mine

Drop it or else

No words necessary

Must have more NOW

Thank you Frankie and family for giving me this incredible experience. You are a true friend and will always be a special member of my pack. My assistant is now using this wonderful stuff to give me my medicine in the morning. When it is moistened, it makes a perfect disguise for my pills - I play along so I get more jerky!

Don't forget my Bucket Blog World Tour kicks off on Monday. First stop Greenville, South Carolina at Brian's Place. Tune in next Friday for my next bucket list post.
