Just Try and Stop Me!

Why do I look so happy? Because I outsmarted the silly humans - AGAIN!

My parents recently replaced our ancient appliances with fancy new ones. And because of my so-called fondness for the refrigerator (not talking food here), I was banned from the kitchen! They even put up some rinky-dink barrier to keep me out - AS IF! I will let these pictures tell my story.

And that my friends is how you stick it to the humans! Feel free to take notes and by all means, do try this at home!

  14. Pip, I love you! This reminds me of when I first got my dog, and we were training her. We kept her in the kitchen behind a baby gate. However, every time we got home, we found her at the front door waiting for us. We didn’t think she could jump the gate, and there was only a tiny hole she chewed through. We knew she couldn’t fit, because if she tried, her head went through but her body got stuck. It was a mystery. So one day, I had a friend peeking through the kitchen window and I left the house. He watched her get so upset and determined that she constricted her body and charged through the hole….. It was so cute!

  37. You just look so pleased with yourself, Mr. Pip!! Gotta agree with Miss Puddles, though -- not a real strong barrier! We've got gates and screens and all kinds of stuff to dissuade us from going where we're not supposed to go! Good job, though!!

  41. LOL> Oh, Pip this brings back a memory for me when we just got Gracie and tried to confine her to an area in the kitchen so she wouldn't potty all over the house. She pretty much outsmarted us at first but... well... it's all in the book. haha.
Pip, you are adorable. You look like one of those Russ stuffed animals... But obviously the only thing you're stuffed with is that prescription dog food, right?
Gracie said to tell you thanks for reminding her that she is the boss and not us. Errrrr...

  47. Omigosh Pip! Your humans are gonna have to come up with something better than that to keep you from your beloved fridge! Hey, we think you should totally put that last pic on the real estate website for your house listing! That would attract buyers WITHOUT any danger of them trying to make you part of the deal. Think they call that a "teaser" in marketing lingo :)
