Operation Gator

The Chi-Town Doggie Bloggie Brigade had a fabulous day!

We went on a dog cruise together - in real life!!!!

Let's meet our guests:

Neeko is new to the blogging world so please stop by and say hi. We Yorkies stick together, it is a brotherhood that can't be broken!

Sugar wasn't able to join us today and we missed her very much!!

OPERATION GATOR

Not sure if this made the national news or not, but two baby Alligators were recently found in the Chicago River. Some dumb human probably had them as pets and later abandoned them. Josie Posie and I have been quite concerned about this situation and took it upon ourselves to search (and rescue) any stray gators. The doggie cruise was just a cover for our real mission - Operation Gator.

Gators are scary! Whose idea was this?

Good friends, good times!

Miss M. doesn't suspect a thing.  She thinks we are here for the conversation!

Josie Posie, let's see if we see any gators?

Pip, don't look now, but I think I see a flying gator!

I will distract Mr. B while you net that gator!

Boy, maybe the vet is right and I do need to lose a few pounds! I am twice the size of Neeko!

What is it all about, Pip? What is my purpose?

Look mom, I am the king of the world!

No gators out here, Pip.  Mission accomplished, Josie Posie!

Let me tell you a little secret - Mama really hates getting her picture taken!

Views from the boat!

One big bloggie doggie family!

  5. You did such a great recap. It's a good thing that Miss M didn't know about the gator mission; she is totally terrified of amphibians. She really did think she was here just for the conversation. It was so great to meet everyone. Thanks for organizing!

  24. Pip - Wow! We're so impressed! For a little guy, you sure have been insanely daring lately! First, that caper at the bachelor pawty and now - wrestling with gators??? What's up with all this? Mom is getting a little worried for your safety, so she said to tell you to be careful. We say - cowabunga dude!

  26. How fun! I wish my boys could have come along. We don't live anywhere near Chi-town though. Oh well.

I don't like having my picture taken either. And I don't think Shiver does either. He hardly ever looks right at me when I have camera in hand, Chico will though.

  31. Pip,
It looks like you accomplished your mission in more ways than one. Try not to worry about our girly she is a little fighter and I am very hopeful that she will make a full recovery. She will be most miffed to have missed such an exciting post from you and I will tell her all about it when I see her and will give her lots of snuggles from you. She has one more of her hollibobs posts scheduled to go I think then I will fill you all in on how she is doing. You get some rest after your expedition now and take care of everyone at your house.
Huge squidges for you and much love too

  32. Pip,

Look like you had fun! Hey are you a Chicago White Sox fan? My momma wanted me to ask you what do you think about Manny Rameriz coming to the White Sox. My Momma is a red sox fan and has been following his career. She says that he is pretty much done and he will be no help to the White Sox.

  41. Wow that looks like it was so much fun Pip! We wish we were doggies and could go on a boat like that! But that is ok - we like our house so we don't mind. And we kind of feel like we were there because your post was so great!

And we heard about those gators too - mom said they were cute (she is weird) but was sad that someone had abandoned them like that - we have heard they will go to a much better home now! But we are on the lookout at our house now - because we have a creek we are a little concerned that maybe there could be some here too!
